Twin Cities Teacher Collaborative (TC2)

The Twin Cities Teacher Collaborative (TC2) is a partnership of six private institutions of higher education including Augsburg College, Bethel University, Concordia University Saint Paul, Hamline University, St. Catherine University, and the University of St. Thomas. The TC2 institutions prepare nearly 20% of all new teachers licensed in Minnesota and are working together to establish and support a new paradigm for teaching and learning centered on improved teacher effectiveness to close the achievement gap.  The goal of TC2 is to recruit, prepare, place, and support 750 new teachers per year who demonstrate a positive impact on P-12 student learning outcomes by 2018.
